Mount Air Village
The Mount Air Village is not for profit, not-stock Virginia corporations. Mount Air consist 182 towns homes and it was develope by the Mount Air Developement Limited Coprporations in 1984-1988. Mount Air Village is located in overlay distric of the Lorton/Newington area of Fairfax Country Virginia. Homeowners Associations in the Commonwealth of Virginia are governed by the Virginia Property Owners Association Act. Legislation proposed and adopted for the purpose of owners. These laws established how associations can be altered, created, and terminated. They also establish how an association will be managed, as well as certain aspects of the sale of a home within the community.
Ownership
Purchasing a town house in Village of Mount Air the purchaser becomes the member int the associations. Owners are notified of the annual assesment, which is determined by the Board of Directors. Annual assesment is paid quarterly. Owners will recieve a coupon in the mail prior to the due date. Owners who have lease their unit will submit a copy of the lease of Management Company prior to the tenant moving into the unit.
